Asbestos Fear in School in the United Kingdom

Parents were thinking they were sending their kids to school in complete safety and that they would never be harmed.
'No risk to kids', says council as works spark asbestos fear

ASBESTOS is being removed from a school on the Roundshaw Estate over the summer holidays.

Amy Johnson Primary School is undergoing routine maintenance work and, as it is an older building, this involves removing some of the potentially deadly material.

Sutton Council insist the asbestos has been of no danger to pupils' health.

But some residents who saw workers in the school grounds wearing protective white suits were a little worried.
