SEATTLE, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- For 53-old widow Diane Petty, an obscure news story earlier this week announcing a settlement between creditors and Owens Corning has special meaning. After a five-year battle, she will finally receive compensation for the death of her husband, Robert, caused by years of exposure to asbestos while he worked as a rigger at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton.
