Honoring Those Who Give More

In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love. -- Mother Teresa

Those of us who have spent time in a hospital or clinic with a family member suffering from cancer know this person.

She is the nurse who stays after her shift to make sure the patient and their family have what they need. He is the social worker who makes the extra phone call to see that the equipment is delivered to the patient's home. She is the volunteer who holds the patient's hand during treatment.

They all have one thing in common: they are not just doing a job, they are taking care of the patient or family member beyond what is expected.

We feel these people deserve to be honored for their extraordinary compassion. They deserve membership in the Caregivers Hall of Fame.

If you know of someone who deserves a pat on the back, please let us know at info@mesothelioma-health.org.
